Well JesusFest was great and so was the Back to Samaria annual anniversary celebration, can’t really say enough about what went on this past weekend, we met some great young people, and linked up with some great young people. <segue> the Tru 2 Life album is in the works and is looking to have some great features on it locally and nationally. K-Drama (recently signed with Cross Movement) just finished laying down a verse for the duo’s upcoming project, D-Maub of Cincinatti Ohio makes an appearance and some serious CT talent is scheduled to make some key drops on the album as well. The project is produced by Mpax productions. God has been putting many things in order for this sophomore release, keep the young boys in prayer as they seek the Lord’s will for their second album. The project is looking to release on Tru 2 Life’s anniversary of six years in ministry sometime in March of 2011.

Good TGIF to you. In some recent news, the Heart for Hartford 2010 has turned into the Heart for Hartford 2011. Yes, it has been postponed for next year, which means that tomorrow’s Kickoff event has been postponed as well, apologies to those that were planning on attending. However, Jesus Fest 2011 is right around the corner and is featuring some of the same ministries dedicated to the Heart for Hartford, we at God Made Hip Hop love outreach events and JesusFest is definitely that. JesusFest has a long history of bringing the gospel to downtown Rockville, CT, please join us in reaching out to the community and celebrating our risen savior Jesus Christ. Alright peoples another event announcement, the Heart for Hartford happening is happening again. Last year’s four day fall tent revival is back in Bushnell Park for the summer from August 4th to August 8th. If your ministry would like to contribute in some way you can contact us here at Godmadehiphop.com as we are directing this year’s youth department, which by the way is going to be having a four day flag football tourney to see who has the best six man squad in the city (first eight teams to sign up our in).
Anywho the kickoff event for the August Revival is June 26, 2010 from 9am to 2pm, Tru 2 Life and host of others will be praising the Lord together so come join Mission for Jesus International and company as they prepare to evangelize the city of Hartford. Heads up on an upcoming event, the Hartford Project 2010 aka Love Wins! It’s an annual outreach to the NorthEast neighborhood in Hartford, CT.
Tru 2 Life and a host of others will be there ministering. It is an awesome event to watch as churches from the greater Hartford area come together to give clothes, food, haircuts, Bibles, music, and a whole lot more back to the community.
God Made Hip Hop has been privileged to participate in this event for the last three years. If you would like to contribute or participate in any way hit us up on our contact page and we will see if we can’t plug you in with the right folks. The DATES ARE: JUNE 29th and JUNE 30th… yes it is a two day event. Also be on the lookout for the Heart for Hartford and the flag football tourney coming in August… ooooo it’s gonna be some type of summer for the harvest, lol.

Well the new website is up and we are happy to say that it probably is going to be left alone for a while lol. We are excited with all the new things that the Lord is doing within the ministry, this month at the Juvenile Detention Center in Hartford, CT, six young men received Christ in their life, so you know the angels are praising the Lord for that, just keep those young men in prayer as they begin their walk in Christ.
In other news, Tru 2 Life’s upcoming sophomore album “nU bEginNinG” has been pushed back a hair, the group is working with some new production from H-town Texas and it looks like it’s going to be a banger there’s alot of kicks and stuff… Oh!.. don’t forget that in our downloads section there will always be new music to download for FREE, in the “Random Downloads” section. “Random Downloads” will be updated just as the name indicates… at random, so you sorta gotta stay on your toes you know, P’s and Q’s, keep it sharp… anywho may the Lord be glorified in what we do.
